Fishing License Information
While Hendricks Creek Resort is located on the Kentucky side of the lake, we are only 3/4 of a mile to the Tennessee line. When fishing you need to be aware of your location. All shorelines are marked with State Boundaries. In addition, when purchasing either KY or TN license you will need your social security number. To speed the process if you have purchased a license in the past, bring it with you and all information will already be ‘online’ for your next purchase.
We currently are NOT selling KY License on site – however, you may purchase online.

PRIMITIVE CAMPING
“Dale Hollow Lake Primitive Camping” is a unique series of 32 locations with a total of over 70 individually designated family campsites dispersed over 620 miles of shoreline, with locations in both the Kentucky and Tennessee states, both along its roads and on islands that you’ll have to use a boat to get to. Primitive camping offers campers a peaceful and unique nature experience

What Is Primitive Camping?
Primitive camping, is camping in the traditional sense, water isn’t readily available on hand unless you brought some with you before hand, same goes for electricity. Primitive camping is meant to create the genuine “outdoors” camping experience!
